Warcode went live on the App Store yesterday as some of you may have noticed, and it’s been a huge success so far 🙂 Thanks everyone who have downloaded it and extra thanks to all who bought the full version.
The most frequent feedback we’re getting is 1) you want updated graphics and 2) there is still a bug with the game crashing after finishing a level, most likely only affecting iOS version 4.1. Also 3) you want the game to run on iPod touch, but unfortunately it doesn’t have an auto-focus camera and that makes the barcode scanning unusable
You’ll be happy to know we’re already planning for update 1.1 which will address both these points! Our graphical and interaction designer Mia has a bunch of ideas for refreshing the app’s interface and I have noticed a bunch of small bugs aside from the crashing that will be rectified. On the roadmap are also a greater assortment of warriors and equipment. Unfortunately I’ve caught the cold so I’m mostly lying around in bed making Fred Durst-like noises at the moment.
Our goal was to release a minimal viable product as early as possible and then iterate, and the version we have shipped works great for most people who are not still on an older version of the OS, so I’m happy about that! The feedback we have received from the launch has put us on a steady course and I really look forward to sharing the progress on the next version with you all!
I’m also stunned with the scores some people on the leaderboards are achieving, you guys are nuts.

Soo, what’s going on in the wardrobe,eh? Well…
Mustang is about to be pressed out of its juvenile vagina and into the AppStore. And yes, we did say that a month ago but we don’t want to rush this monster.
Jester is almost done, and I will stab myself into a nun if this angry bugger won’t satisfy your sick minds. Just needs a little bit of tweaking in the sound and graphics.
Holy freaking man cow, this soggy biscuit is turning into a real piece of art. I play with it constantly, and I never get tired so Goose vs Lil Gonas 1-0.
Yeah, and then we got tons of other tings happening. Y’all have probably already seen the logo (flying narwhals are awesome), and soon you will feel it against your face in you favourite pub. And our marketing department (or is it a commité Önders?) will soon leave its chrysalis and evolve into a grim reaper of crazy ads. So, to summarize: we are still fawking awesome.

Project Mustang is done, and will soon ship to the big guys. We are pretty sure that this one will be a friggin’ Jesus for everybody, since we are in some kind of global financial crisis. A superb UI, some great features and a awesome rating of about all you can think of, this little tool will kick some asses and stir up the competition for sure. We have given it a name, and soon you will wake up in the middle of a release party with “stekarlökar” in your armpits. Our marketing division has come up with a strategy, so we are super excited about this.
A couple of weeks ago we gave the developers a big shiny green light to start a new project, Project Jester. References to popular culture (oh yeah, we got culture, baby) and a user experience beyond Sci-Fi, we will take social gaming to a new level and give everybody a chance to try something that they’ve been longing for the last 30 years. Jester is still a nasty bugger with lots of things to add, but we hope to throw it to the wolves soon.
Oh, this baby is f—ing huge. The Ben Hur of apps. We are still playing around with ideas, but you will surely want tap this one when it is ready.
