New App: Nattstad

Finally it’s out in the wild, our new monster app! This baby has been in the making for a while, but gosh it’s beautiful! There is so much you can do, and it’s almost as if it’s is giving you a massaging manicure while you are exploring it’s depth and inner chambers. God damn this app rocks, can’t wait until Limp Bizkit releases their new album and Fred Durst will serenade it on every damn song!

Nattstad is the swedish Facebook, but instead of ugly pimpleheads and annoying parents, your friends will be the hottest girls and boys, waiting for you at the most awesome bars and night clubs. Finally you will have the chance to enjoy the life you’ve seen on Gossip Girl. Check out the most daring blogs, pictures from the craziest parties and read up on what’s going on in Your town.

ÖeG Kickoff Party

A few of you may already have heard, on Monday 22 December at 5 pm ÖeG will have its official inauguration party at our new offices (a.k.a. The Wardrobe) located in Jonas’s residence at Dr. Bex gata 13B in Göteborg. All our fans are of course welcome, please write something in the comments if you want to attend. And link to our blog and write about us on Twitter.

We will also use this event to try to raise some funds for our trip to Riga and the Barcamp Baltics in February. All we ask is that you bring one case of people’s beer, drink it all up and leave the refunds for us.

As it is a Monday it also coincides with our first real Champagne Monday. Depending on the mood we may have a big whiteboard brainstorming session with all the guests and maybe some drunk coding or other Web 2.0 related activities. Jonas has promised to provide some kind of cocktail snacks.

The dresscode is business casual. Please keep in mind pictures from the event will be featured on YouTube and all over Web 2.0 so try to not be ugly.

Office Space

We are currently on the look out for some premium office space in central Gothenburg. Preferably a large residential house with room for at least four people. We need somewhere to code our apps, brew our beer, hang our whiteboard, throw our wikkid release bashes, and similar activities. And somewhere to wake up with a pounding head to the sound of your wingman’s fingers caressing the keyboard, arousing Xcode into producing beautiful pixels of perfect interface. If you’re aware of someone who is subletting a house or large apartment in Gothenburg please drop a line in the comments. Peace sisters.

So today we are officially launching development of our first iPhone application, codenamed Project Mustang. We will not disclose any details about the app yet, but it will enable party animals to optimize their night out and utilize their mobile computing power in the often time-critical decision-making process.

We are really super excited about this product.
